Your data is yours. Here is what protects it.
Plain facts, not promises. Subbo is new, so we say what is built, not what we hope for.
- We never hold or move your money
- Your firm sees only its own data
- Database in London
Built and tested
Your data is walled off
A firm only ever sees its own data. The database enforces this, not just the screen, and it is tested.
Roles are limited
Owner, manager and worker. People see only what they should.
Private numbers stay private
UTR, NI number and bank details are shown masked and kept out of logs and error reports.
Money in whole pence
Never decimals. The tax maths has its own tests.
Filed months are locked
Changes are written to an audit log.
Photos stored privately
Right to work photos are not public, ever.
Kept, then erased
Records are kept for the legal period. Personal details can be erased when the law allows.
Checks we run on ourselves
An automated "hive" runs attack-style tests and security probes against the code and the database.
Not done yet
A lawyer has not yet reviewed our privacy notice and terms (the drafts are on this site). An independent penetration test has not been done. Some login protections are still being added. A real HMRC connection is not made.
Your data and the law
For your workers' data, the firm decides what is collected. Subbo processes it on the firm's instructions. Read the draft privacy notice.
